Being A Teacher is Complicated

Teaching is always a satisfying profession for me. All those love from students make me so happy. When they call to express their love, it’s a heavenly feeling. I find peace in the sentence “sir, your words showed me a way to love life.”

BUT…… 😏 It’s complicated too. We have to keep an eye on so many silly thinks that I don’t think people need to care about in any other professions. Some problems are common but some are unique to teachers. For example:

    1. Once I received a comment on semester-end feedback saying ‘You wore only two jeans in whole semester. You should buy more jeans’ 👖
    2. We can’t color our hair although I badly want to 🥺 What will society think of me???
    3. Facing the dangerous questions at the end of semester – ‘sir, my father and mother both are teachers. Why I didn’t get an A+ grade?’ or ‘Sir, my project partner got an A+, why didn’t I?’
    4. Getting blame from top for students’ failure.
    5. Expecting we’ve the solutions for all psychological problems 🦸‍♂️
    6. And facing those funny random questions in class ❓❓❓

In the end, I’m so happy I choose this. It’s all worth it 😄
